Here are some shows I'll be playing this month:
May 5: private--Barboursville Vineyards
May 12--Verbunk performs at the 2nd Street Gallery in downtown Charlottesville from 1 to 4 pm. Gypsy families get in free.
May 17--Verbunk at Starr Hill Cocktail Lounge beginning at 9 pm and then with Hard Rain.
May 20--Verbunk performs at a House Concert. Email for more details or to rsvp.
May 24--Verbunk performs at Fellinis #9 from 9 to 12 pm.
May 26--I perform solo on accordion and piano at the lovely Del Fosse vineyard for their sumptous wine dinner. Bring your woman, they'll provide the wine and i, the song. See www.delfossewines.com for more details on the lovely french villa in the appalachian hills
May 30--Peyton Tochterman and High Society performs with Sons of Bill at Orbit (on the Corner in Charlottesville) starting at about 10 pm.
June 2--I perform on solo accordion at Hollins College in Roanoke, Va.
In addition, I'm in Mountainside studio this month recording an album of classic New Orleans and newly penned tunes of meown for a Matty Metcalfe and Crewe d'Bayou album. More details to come as we two-step closer to the finish line.
